As a collage artist and illustrator deeply rooted in the rural farmscape of the Midwest, I seek to unearth elements of the sublime found all around me. I am drawn to that overwhelming, awe-inspiring moment created by the various tensions I observe in my surroundings: storms looming over quaint horizons, chaotic patterning of fields, and bewildering senses of scale in both the miniature and the gigantic.
